Job Descriptions:
The FM Engineer should have knowledge and experience in all hardware, OS and software provided for the project.
Should perform day to day administrative activities: WAS, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, IIS and NGINX installation, resource allocation/reallocation and other daily activities to increase the performance of solution.
Should perform monitoring and managing all important server/system parameters – Disk space, Processor, kernel, memory, I/O Utilization, Network Utilization related to WAS, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, IIS and NGINX.
Should perform production support and monitoring of production/Test environment. Analysis and resolution of production related issues.
Should perform backup/restoration configuration and monitoring for middleware applications (JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, IIS and NGINX) and other related configuration.
Should perform patch updating of middleware applications (WAS, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat , IIS and NGINX) on a regular basis and Version migration/upgrade support of middle ware applications.
Should perform log monitoring of middleware applications and knowledge sharing with bank
Should perform problem determination, management, resolution/escalation to respective vendors. Analysis, suggestions and resolution of audit comments.
Should perform recovery of middleware applications (WAS, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, IIS and NGINX) from system crashes.
Should perform WAS, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, IIS and NGINX performance tuning and response monitoring.
Should schedule and optimize the middleware services running on the server for best performance.
Should perform administrative activities on middleware applications: trouble shooting on performance issue, other housekeeping activities etc.
Should support coordination with the hardware vendor.
Should prepare documentation for installation and operations manual of the product stack and also the baseline document.
Should perform Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing.
Vendor should ensure all support during the audits carried out by the Bank/any third party agencies/Statutory agencies
Should prepare and update secure operations document and hardening baseline documents of the middleware applications (WAS, Apache Tomcat, IIS and NGINX ) in addition to the standard operating procedure.
When required by the bank, support outside regular operations window should be provided to the bank. This extra support will be required during any planned or unplanned incidents/activities.
